Big Brother still watching

According to the recent CNN publication (source: http://articles.cnn.com/2012-09-27/world/world_world-internet-freedom-report_1_internet-censorship-internet-freedom-jeremy-goldkorn)

Forty seven (47) countries impose Internet Censorship on their citizens, popular websites are filtered as “highly immoral” and unethical.

According to the report Chinese officials utilize very complex censoring system which allows them to build “Great Chinese Firewall”.

Most social websites have to comply with the Censoring rules and remove or block content which is defined as inappropriate to Chinese population.

Here is one workaround to bypass that kind of strict censoring of the Internet.

VPN will create an encrypted and protected tunnel. Since the data is encrypted inside the tunnel, the government won’t be able to see the contents and moreover to block traffic flows.

Use VPN and be happy with everyday Internet Surfing

How to watch Hulu and BBC iPlayer in Canada

Good article written by Ted Kritsonis

Geo-blocking isn’t fun for anyone, but it’s the reality we face here in Canada, since copyright and licensing issues preclude us from enjoying all the content that’s on tap with popular online TV show repositories like Hulu in the U.S. and BBC iPlayer in the U.K. Thankfully, there are ways to get around this. If you’ve already tried going to Hulu or BBC iPlayer, you no doubt encountered a message indicating that you’re cut off because each service offers its content to Americans and Brits, respectively. They may be a bit cryptic about it, but the reason why this happens is because there are distribution deals in place with Canadian broadcasters that give them first dibs on American and British programming, which means that the licensing has to be reworked in order to allow Hulu and BBC iPlayer to start operating unimpeded here. VPN Reviews

Another interesting trend in VPN market is having a VPN Review website.

here is the break down of a vpn review site and their motivation behind them

1) These VPN review sites call themselves as “Independent” and “Unbiased” review sites.

Reality – it’s all fake. Positive reviews can be purchased from $5 to $100 depending on greediness of the owners.

2) VPN Review sites are affiliates of VPN providers. Usual payout – 30% per sale

3) Posted reviews are fake. These reviews are posted by VPN providers themselves, competitors and fraudsters

4) VPN review sites sell advertising spots on their pages.

5) Some review sites are owned by VPN companies and usually a certain website is promoted through that review site

6) review sites are identical clones of each other due to lack of design and creativity

7) and last but not least – DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Buying a VPN account

Buying a VPN account isn’t a complicated process, everything is simple…click “Buy Now”, enter your details and wait for an account.

But, some people think that they can use “brother’s”, “sister’s”, “cousin’s”, “friend’s” credit card. Usually these people live in Nigeria or in any Eastern European country, while their “brothers” and “sisters” live in US or Western Europe.

After several unsuccessful payment attempts and after their accounts are forever banned these “honest” people have nothing to do but to post negative reviews on so-called “independent” VPN review sites.

I wanted to reassure everyone – we provide very reliable VPN service to honest people and all our customers are very important to us.

nigerians and other fraudsters – stay away.
