PPTP VPN Setup.




Windows XP PPTP VPN Setup
1.Choose Start > Settings > Network Connections > New Connection Wizard.
2.Choose "Connect to the network at my workplace" and click "Next".
3.Choose "Virtual Private Network connection" and click "Next".
4.Enter a name for the VPN connection (e.g. "Blacklogic") and click "Next".
5.If you don't need to dial up to the Internet before you can connect to Blacklogic, choose "Do not dial the initial connection". Otherwise choose the connection to use. Click "Next".
6.Enter "vpn.blacklogic.com" as the VPN server host name and click "Next".
7.Check "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop" if desired, then click "Finish".
8.Enter your Blacklogic user name and password (you've received these after completing your purchase, and you can also find them in your receipt e-mail) and click "Connect".
9.You are now connected to Blacklogic!

Windows Vista PPTP VPN Setup
1. Click the Windows start orb and select Control Panel on the start menu.
2. Click Network and Internet in the Control Panel.
3. Under "Network and Sharing Center," click Connect to a Network.
4. Click Set up a connection or network.
5. Double-click on Connect to a workplace to open the VPN setup window.
6. Select Use my Internet Connection (VPN).
7. Enter the server address your VPN provider gave you in the Internet address field. Also check the box marked Don't connect now; just set it up so I can connect later. Click Next (in the lower-right corner of the window).
8. Enter the username and password your VPN provider gave you in the appropriate boxes, then click Create (in the lower-right corner) to finish setting up the VPN connection.
9. Click Connect now to connect to the VPN provider and start surfing securely and anonymously.


MAC OS X 10.4 PPTP VPN Setup
1. Click the Spotlight glass icon in the top-right corner of your screen to activate Spotlight.
2. Type in "System Preferences" and press return. This should open the System Preferences pane. If it doesn't, click "System Preferences" in the dropdown menu.
Note: On OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and below, type "Internet Connect" to open the VPN settings window.
3. On the System Preferences pane, click "Network" :
4. In the Network configuration window, find and click "VPN (PPTP)" in the list on the left side of the window. This will show the configuration screen for setting up a VPN connection.
5. Enter the server address and username given to you by your VPN provider in the appropriate boxes.
Click the "Connect" button. If all goes well, a box will pop up asking for your password. Enter the password your VPN provider gave you and press "OK."
6. Your computer will now finish connecting to your VPN provider. If your connection is successful, the VPN Setup window will change to show that you are connected.
