How does it work?
It adds a new network interface which you are working with as if you are working with direct internet connection. But the IP is different, and all traffic is encrypted.

You should get your account within 2 (two) business days. Unfortuantely, unfair people pay from stolen credit cards. In order to detect and eliminate fraudulent payments we have to delay sending accounts. Sorry for the inconvenience.

What is the difference between IPSEC and PPTP?
PPTP has been considered to be not very secure but since version 2 many of the security issues have been addressed. PPTP is "good enough" for most purposes as long as a sensible password is chosen - one not easily guessed. IPSec is generally considered to be more secure and is the protocol of choice for particularly sensitive information. Many "road warriors" or remote workers are quite happy with PPTP because it is a lighter weight protocol that is very simple to set up and use.
Common use of the protocols:
* PPTP - road warrior or remote workers, remote connection to your home, telecommuting
* IPSec - office to office communication, branch office to head office communication
What is a VPN Router? Do I need it?
A VPN router acts as a VPN gateway between your home network and Internet by forwarding ALL packets from all of your home devices (computers, tablets, or any networked devices) to one of our secure VPN Servers.
You will need a VPN router if you have multiple devices such iPad, Android, Sony PS3, Xbox and if you want these devices to work through a VPN tunnel. Also, a VPN router is needed when you have a physical VOIP phone which can't connect to a VPN server.

I'm up and working now, easy set up. So far looks good.
Blacklogic is great. Service is fast and cheap - $100 for a whole year. My location blocks Hulu and iTunes and Blacklogic restores my access.
